Donald W. "Buddy" Edwards

Donald W. “Buddy” Edwards, 79, of Logansport passed away on January 28, 2026 at Parkview Logansport Hospital. He was born on November 18, 1946 in Paoli, Indiana to the late Glenn W. and Ruby V. (Strange) Edwards.

He married Kathleen J. (Haring) Edwards on December 1, 1968.

Buddy was retired from the Railroad as a Car Inspector. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, murder mystery shows, and mushroom hunting.

Buddy will be missed dearly by many.

Survivors include his wife Kathleen Edwards; three sons: Ricky A. Edwards of Logansport, Kenneth M. Edwards (Deb) of Gastonia, N.C., and Brian K. Edwards of Gastonia, N.C.; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild; four sisters: Shirley Henderson (Ron) of Logansport, Linda Monical (Dave) of Logansport, Darlene Haring of Houston, Texas, and Sheila Burris (Randy) of Jeffersonville, Indiana; one brother Curtis Edwards of New Albany, Indiana.

He is preceded in death by his parents Glenn W. and Ruby V. Edwards; a grandson; a brother Harry Edwards; and sister Ruby Haring.

Cremation will take place at Indiana Central Crematory, owned and operated by Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory.

A memorial will be held at his home on February 21, 2026 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. for family and friends.
