With profound sadness and broken hearts, we announce the passing of Donald Lee Elsworth, age 49, who left this world late Wednesday night into the early hours of Thursday morning.

Donald was truly the best husband and father anyone could ever ask for. He was loving, caring, funny, and forever the life of the party. His laughter filled every room, and his presence brought joy to everyone around him. Donald had a heart of gold and lived his life completely devoted to his family.

He was the beloved husband of over 11 years to his wife, Stephanie, whom he loved with his entire soul. She was his world—his life partner, his best friend, his forever. They did everything together, spending every moment side by side—from waking up each morning, working, going on adventures, enjoying meals together, to always falling asleep next to each other in the same bed. Their bond was unbreakable.

Donald was an incredibly proud and devoted father. He leaves behind his children, whom he loved beyond measure and would do anything for. His Florida children are Geoffrey, Peyton, and Guner, and his Indiana children are Dayton and Kylie. Donald always wanted the best for his children, pushed them to succeed, and took great pride in the people they are becoming. He raised his kids right and never stopped being proud of them.

He loved sports and family time—playing basketball and football with his kids, and especially watching football every weekend with his kids. He was so proud of their success in life. A die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan, Donald lived by “Fly Eagles Fly” and wore his team pride proudly.

Donald also loved hosting pool parties at his family’s house, where laughter, music, and love filled the air. He cherished spending those days with his wife, his son Geoffrey and his girlfriend Emily, his son Peyton, and his son Guner, along with friends who would come together to celebrate life, family, and friendship. Those gatherings were some of his happiest moments and reflected the joy he found in bringing people together.

Donald leaves behind his loving mother, Nilah, whom he adored deeply. He is also survived by his sister Mary, his brother Chris, his cousin Charles, and his cousin Mike, with whom he loved spending time, boating, laughing, and simply enjoying life. Family gatherings were always full of laughter, and he cherished trips to the beach with them and his wife.

Donald is reunited in heaven with his brother Mike, where they are surely together again—laughing, celebrating, and having a good time.

He also leaves behind his loyal companions: his beloved dog Boss, his old man; his other dogs Swoop, Harley, and Cupid; and his bearded dragon Bob.

Donald Lee Elsworth was the most loving man on earth. He lived for his family, did everything he could for them, and loved with his whole heart. Though our hearts are shattered, we are forever grateful for the memories, the laughter, and the love he gave so freely.

He will live on in our hearts and memories until we meet again.

Fly Eagles Fly.
