Donald Fiolek

Donald M. Fiolek, age 75, of Erie, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. He was born in Erie on September 25, 1950, son of the late Bernard and Cecilia Fiolek.

Don attended Academy High School and then served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was in auto parts sales for Rick Weaver Buick prior to his retirement. Don was a member of the American Legion Post 771 and over the years, enjoyed riding his motorcycle and watching football, especially Penn State and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Don's family was big into Dirt Racing and Don was always helping by working on the cars. He also enjoyed going to NASCAR races with his friends.

Don is survived by three daughters, Donna, Tina and Carrie Fiolek; his lifelong partner, Kathleen Fiolek; one brother, David Fiolek (Vicki), one sister, Annette Simon (James); five grandchildren, Dustin, Caitlyn, Destiny, Bree and Hayden; and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Shirley Fiolek; and one brother, Edward Fiolek.

Friends will be received at the Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Saturday, December 6th, from 11 am until the time of the Memorial Service there at 1 pm.
