Alan was my dear friend of many decades. Although we never lived near each other, we played daily online games of Words with Friends. We was a challenging opponent for sure, and usually beat me easily, but kept me smiling with compliments when I would have a good score or an interesting word. He kept me on my toes! I had the greatest respect for him and will miss him dearly.
Fondly,
Leslie J

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always. As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Alan and I became friends soon after I moved to Ocala florida. We enjoyed watching many sporting events together. He loved his LSU tigers. He hosted friendly low stakes poker and enjoyed an outing for a game of pool. After we got to know one another, we could talk politics and vent occasionally. He shared his grilling skills and favorite adult beverage. It was obvious that he loved and treasured his family. Always especially proud of his daughter's Gail and jill. A true friend that I could count on. I'm going to miss him and hanging out with him.
Love and prayers for Allen and his blessed family.
