Donald Folkmire Obituary
Beloved husband of 26 years to Jill Folkmire, Donnie was born on January 22, 1959, in McKeesport, PA, and was the son of the late Jack and Audrey Folkmire.
He was the loving father of Amelia Folkmire and a devoted brother to Jeffrey (Deneen) Folkmire and Paul Folkmire. Donnie is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Donnie worked at Wabtec over 20 years as a locomotive machinist and union representative.
Donnie had a lifelong passion for cars and auto racing. He especially enjoyed attending NASCAR races, a tradition he shared with close friends for over 25 years. He also loved spending time camping in Erie, particularly at Sara's Campground, where he found relaxation and enjoyment in the outdoors.
A quiet and private man, Donnie will be remembered for his steady presence and the simple joys that brought him happiness.
