Donald F. Gress

Donald F. Gress passed away peacefully Saturday February 17, 2024. He leaves behind his beloved wife Pat. Predeceased by his parents Eleanor and Louis. Father of Nicole Gress & Debbie Brassil. Grandfather to Jared, Andrew and Luke. Loving stepfather to Ryan, Chris, Matt and Sean. Brother of Judy Rampolla and Larry Gress. Don had many fond memories of his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He served with distinction in the US Army during the Vietnam Era. Don was a proud vet and lifelong member of the VFW with a profound love for the cooties. Steven Nelson, Michael Nelson and Mike Mullings from CST held a special place in Don's heart. As VP and Chief Information Security Officer at Continental, he rose through the ranks, becoming a trusted leader throughout his extensive career. As COO, he chaired the Securities Transfer Association's Operations Committee and remained active in industry organizations. Don's legacy as a leader is marked by his dedication to safeguarding information and spearheading employee training initiatives. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and colleagues. A celebration of his life will be held on March 2, 2024 9:00 AM at St Agnes Cathedral in RVC.
