Donald Gritti Obituary
Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Sam J. and Margaret (nee DeRita) Gritti.
Donald was a member of the Antique Automobile Club of America, the Keystone Automobile Club, as well as the Crosley Automobile Club. He was a longtime member of St. Anastasia Legion of Mary and was a 3rd Degree Knight and member of the Knights of Columbus Mater Dei Council 4129, Newtown Square. Donald was also an avid fisherman.
Donald shared 55 years of marriage as beloved husband to Patricia A. (nee Hagendorf) Gritti; was the loving father of Don Gritti (Rebecca) and John Gritti), the proud grandfather of Gwen Forget, Jack Gritti and Walter Gritti. He was predeceased by his sister, Eleanor Hamlin.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing, Monday, August 30, 2021, 9:00 – 10:00 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, 610-353-6300, followed by his Funeral Mass, 10:30 AM at St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073. Interment SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
