Donald Clyde Head, 68, of Huntsville; passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at Washington Regional Medical Center, Fayetteville. He was born Sunday, January 6, 1957, at Huntsville; to Clarence Erman and Mary Rose Deaton Head.
Don married Diana Kim Dennis on Friday, July 9, 1976, in Aurora. Together, they raised two children and built a life filled with love. Don worked as a roofer for many years and was known for his independence and down-to-earth nature. He had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and spent much of his free time hunting, fishing, and enjoying the beauty of nature. Above all, Don was deeply proud of his family and will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Mary Head; and one brother, Jerry Head.
He is survived by his wife, Kim Head, of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Jeremy and Angela Head, of Hindsville; one daughter and son-in-law, Misty and Ryan Atterberry, of Huntsville; four grandchildren, Kennedy, Mason, Cahill, and Maddox; and two great-grandchildren, Camdyn and Cayson. Don is also survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Jocelyn and Dale Hansen, of Monitor, Washington; and three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Jim and Donna Head, of Peshastin, Washington, Randy Head and Dee, of Dryden, Washington, and Jon Head and Cheryl, of Leavenworth, Washington.
A formal celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation is entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
