Donald Francis Hebert

Donald Francis Hebert, at the age of 77, entered eternal rest peacefully on Saturday evening, July 8, 2023, at his family home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Houma, Louisiana on July 15, 1945, to Francis James Hebert and Mary Rose Freeman Hebert. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Pamela Chatellier Hebert and his adoring children Henry Benton Hebert, Donald Francis Hebert, Jr., and Trent Thomas Hebert. Donald was the proud grandfather of Chance Benton Hebert, Dylan Graham Hebert, Amy Catherine Hebert, Anna Brielle Hebert, Caitlyn Elizabeth LaRocca, and Victoria Grace Durham. He was a caring sibling of Sheryl Hebert Branney. Donald was preceded in death by his parents Francis James Hebert and Mary Rose Freeman and his brothers Francis James Hebert, Jr., and Richard James Hebert. A native of Houma, and proud resident of New Orleans for over 50 years, Donald graduated from South Terrebonne High School, in Houma, LA. After high school he attended the University of Lafayette and earned his bachelor's degree. He was an independent Certified Financial Planner for 55 years. Donald was loving, compassionate, and most of all a very caring person to all. He was an avid outdoors man who loved spending his free time hunting and fishing at his camp, Cocomaux, in Theriot, LA. However, his true passion was spending time with his loving family and friends. Donald was unique and irreplaceable, well respected and liked, and will be deeply and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. His jovial spirit and tender nature will remain in the many memories of his cherished friends and family until they meet him again.
