I truly don't have the words! I met Donnie 20 years ago , This kid in Cargo shorts and a Pac Sun T-shirt who wandered into my Parts Dept. I watched him raise two wonderful Kids , Morgan and Spencer and grow into one the most Talented Professionals I have ever known. Donnie would sometimes sing my praises but the truth is that it was HE who made me look good all those years working together. But more than anything He was my best friend. I cherish every memory and every minute we spent together and I am so sorry Donnie that your not here.
May God bless and comfort you and your family. Rest in Peace my Dear Friend...I love you and miss you and will remember you always!

Just can't believe it still. I worked with and known Donnie for nearly 20 years. One of the smartest guys I've ever known. I used to watch him play a game of "name that tune" with one of his mentors... when it came to the 70's and 80's... it was absolutely amazing how fast he would nail those songs... legit like 3 notes!!! Donnie and I developed a great relationship over the years and when I finally got my own service department to run, Donnie was my 1st call when I realized how screwed up the parts department was. He came in, made incredible changes and then took an employee who showed promise under his wing and turned him into a great parts manger, legit changed this kids life from despair to prosperity in the course of a couple years.
I can't even begin to express how much I will miss our weekly conversations... Donnie was one of a kind and one, when it comes to helping others in our business, doesn't really exist anymore.
There is so much more I could say.... I am very glad however... a couple years ago, Donnie came down to my property to shoot some guns. I didn't realize that he had never shot a gun before in his life, I'm honored that I was able to share several different guns for him to shoot on his 1st... and only go around with them.
May seem like a weird share... but it's special to me. RIP Donnie.... you will be missed more than you would ever know by more people then you could even imagine

It´s hard to put into words what Donnie meant to me, because the truth is-he changed my life. Back in are early years, it was Donnie, his Dwayne, and Jeff who helped shape something I didn´t even realize I was missing: belonging.
When I was around Donnie, I didn´t feel like an outsider. For the first time in my life, I had people around me who made me feel like I was part of something real. It wasn´t anything dramatic-we weren´t pouring our hearts out or having deep talks. It was simpler than that, and maybe better. It was being invited in. Being asked to hang out. Being asked to come work with him at Annandale Exxon in 1986. That moment right there? That changed everything.
Because of Donnie, a circle of friends grew around me. I started to come out of my shell. I felt connected. I felt like I mattered. And that´s something you don´t forget.
We had our cars, music, and big ideas about where life would take us. Looking back, those days were some of the best. Not because everything was perfect-but because we were together. Because for once, I felt like I had a family, even if I never said it out loud.
Donnie brought people in. That´s who he was. And I´ll never forget that he brought me in too.
Rest easy, brother.
