Donald Dale Howe age 81 of rural Edina, MO, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2026 at his home. He was born April 30, 1944 near Brashear, Mo the son of Virgil Dale and Edna Yvonne White Howe. He was united in marriage to Debra Ann Janzen on November 24, 1975 in Edina, MO.
Surviving are his wife Debra Howe of Edina, MO, his children, Ronnie (Jessie Wheeler) Howe of Baring, MO, Kelly Howe and fiancé Jerry Schrage of Edina, MO, Tina Howe of Kirksville, MO, J.R. Howe (Shi James) of Edina, MO, Audrey (Joe) Detweiler of Blair, Nebraska and Lindsey Howe and fiancé Philip Strub of Ewing, MO, one brother Virgil (Toni) Howe of North Carolina, 18 grandchildren including Dale Libby of the home and 15 great grandchildren an cousins Larry (Mary) Howe of Novinger, MO, and Ralph and Jackie Howe of Tacoma, WS.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, and one son Andrew Howe.
Donald attended Baring Schools. He served four years in the United States Marines, worked at a Rice Mill in California, farmed in Knox County and operated a motor grader in Knox County. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming and his cows.
Donald wishes were to be cremated and services will be held at a later date.
Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina is in charge of arrangements.
