Donald Huckeby Obituary
JONESBORO - Donald Paul Huckeby passed from this life into the arms of Jesus on May 3, 2025, at the age of 91, at the NEA Baptist Hospital.
He was born in Fort Collins, Colo., on June 26, 1933, to Hadley Minor Huckeby and Harriet Eleanor (Buffum) Huckeby. Don met the love of his life, Evelyn Schwarz, at a USO dance in St. Louis. They married in 1955 and celebrated their 70th anniversary in February. They had 3 children, Ronald (Susan), Donna, and Jane (Rick) Schaefer. Don loved Jesus, flying, and helping anyone he could. He leaves behind his wife, two children, eleven grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
A memorial service to celebrate Donald's life will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 10, at Central Baptist Church under the direction of Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.
