I smile as I recall evenings with Don presiding over meetings of the Michigan Yoopers, a club for residents of The Villages, Florida, who hailed from Michigan´s Upper Peninsula. Fun evenings. My smile broadens as I recall Don´s help as my husband Dennis and I agreed to take over the leadership as co-presidents upon Don´s retirement from the post. Don was smart, level-headed, fun, ever pleasant, a good leader and devoted to Irene. I am saddened to hear of his passing. He was a great guy.

What a life well lived! A wonderful family man, and a man of God! The Junak home was my second home growing up! They save me from many meals of liver and onions at home! I know this will be a huge hole for you all to bear! May you find comfort and peace in your memories! I will be praying for the entire family. Sending our sincerest condolences!
