Donald Kenny Obituary
Born in Jersey City, Donald was a longtime resident of Carteret and honorably served in the United States Army. He was employed as a supervisor with the United States Postal Service for many years and upon retiring began his employment with Villani Bus Company in Carteret as a school bus driver. Donald was a longtime member of Carteret Elks Lodge #2235, was an avid New York Giants and New York Mets fan and enjoyed watching his grandchildren in all of their sporting events. Donald was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother who will be deeply missed.
Donald is survived by his wife of 47 years, Stephanie Kenny; daughter, Colleen Coghan with her husband Frank; grandchildren, Frank Coghan, Jr. with his wife Adrianna, Kenny Coghan, Steven Coghan and Elly Coghan; great granddaughter, Jerzee Coghan along with two siblings, Steve and Kathleen Kenny.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2025 from 2pm to 5pm at CHUBENKO FUNERAL HOME, 625 Port Reading Avenue, Port Reading. Private cremation will follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Karing for Kaitlyn, 233 Roosevelt Avenue, Carteret, NJ 07008.
