Donald Joseph Kopf

Donald Kopf, of O’Fallon, Missouri, passed away Friday, July 17, 2026, at the age of 89. Beloved husband of the late Joan Virginia Kopf; cherished son of the late George C. and Barbara Kopf; devoted father of Donna K. (Mike) Mellinger, Daniel C. (Vickie) Kopf, and Diane L. (Jeff) Barone; loving grandfather of Ryan (Sarah Gonzales-Coffin, PhD) Kopf, Tyler Kopf, Elise Barone, Cullen Barone, and Griffin Barone; dear brother of Delores (the late Ed) Bathe, the late Eugene (Pat) Kopf, the late Richard (Ida) Kopf; the late Virginia Kopf, and the late Theresa (Neil) Bement.

Donald built a successful career in finance, serving as Vice President of Jefferson Savings & Loan Association, while also dedicating time to his community through the U.S. Army Reserves, the Knights of Columbus Council #2273, and Boy Scouts Troop 229. Above all else, Don cherished his family, his faith, and his many friendships. He treasured every opportunity to spend time with those he loved, creating lasting memories through their time together. Donald was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
