Donnie was a man of many interests and talents. He cherished his time at Celestine's Turkey Shoots, where he enjoyed participating and connecting with others. His passion for taking care of his family's cars exemplified his devotion and attention to detail. Donnie had a special place in his heart for his pets and found immense joy in spending time with his nieces and nephews, whom he loved dearly.
Described as a strong but gentle man, Donnie's strong faith in God guided his life and relationships. He made friends wherever he went, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Donnie will always be remembered for his unique, goofy sense of humor.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 40 years, Diane Kruer; his son, Donald "Trey" Francis (Mackenzie) Kruer III; and his cherished granddaughter, Wrenlee May Kruer. He is also survived by his siblings, Russell Kruer, Rebecca (Jeff) Crady, Philip (Cheryl) Kruer, Paul (Janet) Kruer, Elizabeth Kruer, and David Kruer.
Donnie was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Kruer Sr. and Jo Ann McCall Kruer, siblings, Mark Kruer and Maryann Kruer; sister-in-law, Cindy Brinley; and his nephew, Mark Burnett.
His legacy of kindness, faithfulness, and love for family will forever remain in the hearts of those he touched throughout his life. He will be greatly missed.
