Donald Linn

Donald Robert Linn passed away peacefully at his Leesburg, VA home on April 17, 2025. He is now with the love of his life, Isabel, who passed away in August of 2021. Don was born May 17, 1929; and was the eldest son of Robert and Virginia Linn. Don was able to live his life at home surrounded by those who loved him.

Don spent most of his career as part of the faculty of Loudoun County High School. He was recognized for his contributions as a teacher of US History and Government, a football coach and a Guidance Counselor. He was offered administrative positions on several occasions, but he never wanted that role as he preferred to keep the close interaction with his students. He left the classroom and became a Guidance Counselor late in his career. He retired from Loudoun County High School in the late 1980's.

Don leaves behind his son Randy Linn (Barbara) and daughter Kimberly Reich (Joe); his grandchildren Alex Linn (Lexie and children Aidan, Ashton and Annabelle), Kate Linn, Olivia Linn, Garrett Reich (Beatriz and son Adrian), Sydney Petzold (Chris and children Scarlett, Violet and Anderson), Kaley Reich (Josh and children Cayden and Cora) and Lera Reich; his brother Eddie Linn and sister Kathleen Hamilton; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
