Donald Lozen Obituary

Published by Legacy on Dec. 3, 2025.
Donald James Lozen II, known affectionately as Don, passed away on November 30, 2025, at the age of sixty. Born on February 2, 1965, in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, to Donald James Lozen and Lynda Rhoades, Don grew up surrounded by a loving family.
Don was a man of many interests and talents. His hands were rarely still as he took great pleasure in building model cars and intricately piecing together jigsaw puzzles. His love for games extended to spirited rounds of euchre and competitive online gaming with friends. A creative soul, he brought intelligence and friendliness to every aspect of his life, infusing warmth and wit into his communications via social media, where he will be dearly missed by his many friends and followers.
He leaves behind his devoted father, Donald James (Jane) Lozen, and his mother, Lynda Rhoades. Cherished memories of Don will be carried forward by his brothers, Dean, David (Sara), Dennis (Momo), and Joseph (Ashley); and his sister, Jamie (Donald) Penzien. Don's presence will also be profoundly missed by his four stepbrothers, Robert, Scott, Jeff, and Todd, and his treasured nieces and nephews, Cydney, Montana, Zachary, Rylee, Irelyn, Ume, Ess, Cooper, and Lincoln, who all brought immense joy to his life.
Mourning his loss alongside his family is his close friend, Sean, and his faithful cat, Colonel, who was always by his side. Don was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lisa Ann Lozen, stepfather, Robert Rhoades, stepbrother, Kevin, and his grandparents, Bertram and Marion Lozen and Howard and Thelma Chartrand, who left indelible marks on his heart.
The family deeply mourns the loss of such a remarkable individual and will be holding a private ceremony to honor Don's life and the immeasurable ways in which he illuminated the lives of others. He has left behind a tapestry of memories that will comfort and enliven all who were fortunate enough to have known him. Don's spirit will live on not just in our hearts, but in the stories and laughter shared between friends and family whenever his name is mentioned. Rest in peace, Donald James Lozen II; your memory will forever be a beacon of joy and friendship. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Donald, please visit our Tree Store.
