Donald Patton Macleod Jr.

I had the great honor of working with Dr. Macleod in the early 2000's. The running joke in the office was that it took us all day to get through a conversation since we both talked so slow. He had the best dry sense of humor. I mean this when I say that I have only had two men in my life that I truly admire and Dr. Macleod was one. Never have I worked with more kind, generous, or steady physician. Not once did he ever get upset with me. Nothing ever rattled him. Nothing. He taught me a great many things about life and gave me many "sayings" that I still quote. The world has lost a true gentleman.

I worked with Dr Macleod at Riverside Hospital and St Vincent s Hospital in the 80s and early 90's. He was such a joy to work with, always kind, professional, with a fun sense of humor. I have such wonderful memories of those days. Condolences to the family, may his soul Rest in Peace.

Dr. Macleod delivered one of our children then was my gyn for many years. He was the kindest, most compassionate Dr.
He was always getting ready to move to his lake place. So glad he was able to spend time there. RIP
