Donald Woodrow "Woody" Manning

Donald Woodrow "Woody" Manning, 94, of Marion, passed away at 2:00 am on Saturday, December 6, 2025, in his home. He was born in Tazewell, Tennessee on Saturday, May 30, 1931, to Grover and Vera (Greene) Manning. He was married to Mary Jane (Hendey), who preceded him in death.
Donald was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. Following his military service, he worked as a journeyman electrician at General Motors for 38 years until his retirement.
Donald is survived by daughter, Jan Elizabeth (Dan) McLain of Ormond Beach, FL; son, Jon Scott (Solveig) Manning of Indianapolis, IN; step-son, Mark Allen (Jennifer) Resler of Carmel, IN; grandchildren, Benjamin (Brittney) Resler and Sidney (Tim Fultz, Jr.) Resler; and great-grandchildren, Abraham Fultz and Ruth Fultz.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane Resler Manning; father, Grover Cleveland "G.C." Manning; mother, Vera C. Manning; and step-son, Brent Resler, D.O.
Inurnment will take place at a later date at Estates of Serenity.
