DONALD MAYNARD, 96 of Wayne, WV, died Saturday, December 27, 2025. Funeral services will be conducted 12 p.m. January 2 at Cross Roads Church, Wayne, WV. Burial will follow at Jarrett Maynard Cemetery, Wayne, WV. He was born July 1, 1929, a son of the late Lark and Rinda Meade Maynard. He was known as a faithful Christian, loving husband, dad, grandpa, brother, friend and hard worker. He attended Marshall University and taught at the Copley Trace One Room School House, he started his own trucking company, Hercie Transport, Inc. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Hercie Marie Workman Maynard. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at Cross Roads Church. Morris Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
