I remember the political conversations we often shared during our time at American University. I will miss you! RIH Donald.

Deepest condolences. I served with Don in the General Assembly. My wife and I wish to donate a memorial in memory of Don. We would appreciate it if the family would get in touch with us for information.

I met Rep McEachin several times and voted for him each time he ran. He was a good and true public servant and always seemed to have a kind and generous spirit, even when battling the challenges of cancer. May his name be a blessing.

Worked for the Congressman when he was in the State Senate. He was always very nice to me, and I will always be grateful to him when he wrote a letter of recommendation on my behalf when I applied for grad school at VCU. RIP, and love to his.

Don and I were moot court partners during our second year at the University of Virginia Law School. He was a great advocate, but what most impressed me were his relaxed sense of humor and imperturbability. He was able to keep cool when others got hot, and see the humor where others saw red. As a recent example, I called him on January 6 and he answered, "You are calling me TODAY?" I think he impressed me as much as anybody I have ever met, and I am deeply sorry that his life was cut short by cancer. He was a force for good in this world.
