Died: June 29, 2022 in Lakewood, IL
Donald Robert Meyer, 82, passed away at his home June 29, 2022 after one last trip with his lovely wife to his beloved cabin in the Wisconsin woods. He was born August 30, 1939 in Manitowoc, WI to the late Henry and Aurelia Meyer.
Donald is survived by his loving wife, Mary Lou Meyer; children, Doug (Cheryl) Meyer, Cindy (Michael) Mata, and Debbie (Michael) Ryan; son-in-law, Todd Gray; his grandchildren, Drew Meyer, Todd Meyer, Christina Meyer, Alethea Gray, Gordon Gray, Aurelia Gray, Clare Ryan, Nathan Ryan, and Elise Ryan; and his brother, Henry Meyer.
Donald is preceded in death by his daughter, Vicki Gray; his brothers; Lynford (Winifred) Meyer, Kenneth Meyer, Marvin (Nancy) Meyer; his sisters, Dorothea (Ken) Gess, and Elaine (George) Schack; sister-in-law, Lorraine Meyer.
Visitation will be held July 6, 2022 from 4pm till the time of service at 7:30pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake. Memorial Mass will be held July 7, 2022 at 10am at St. Thomas the Apostle Church 451 W Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake.
