I am saddened to see a man whom I had so much respect for growing up, has passed. Don Modrall is the father of a friend of mine, Dan. Don was always so kind to me. A very soft spoken nice person. He always made you feel welcome. Don and Lynn had taken Dan and I hunting with them to Rock Creek Canyon in Bickleton. He bagged a deer and was so excited, we were all happy for him. He even gave me some of the meat. Besides being an avid outdoorsman, he was also a gifted machinist. I had taken my Model A Ford engine to him around 1980 that he rebuilt at his machine shop he and Lynn had opened. It still runs great 45 years later. Most of all, his kind demeanor with that big smile and handshake he greeted you with will always stuck with me. God will open up heaven's door for him, no questions asked. So sorry to the family for the loss of such a great man.
