Donald Lee Morgan, Suddenly, U.S. Army Veteran.
Beloved husband of Ginger nee Naso for over 69 years. Loving father of Donna (David) Alvarez, & Mary (the late Brian) Taylor. Cherished grandfather of Donald (Chastyn) Oliver, Anthony Alvarez, Mark Oliver, & Emily Taylor. Youngest of 6 siblings who preceded him in death. Proud uncle of many nieces & nephews. Devoted friend of all who knew him. Funeral Monday, November 3rd 10:15 am from Thompson & Kuenster Funeral Home, 5570 W. 95th St. in Oak Lawn to St. Gerald Church for Mass at 11:00 am. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Visitation Sunday, November 2nd, from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Don was lovingly known as "Daddy", "Papa", "Coach" & "Duck". Longtime parishioner of St. Gerald Parish and was awarded the Holy Name Society "Legend of St. Gerald" for his many years of service, dedication and hard work. Prayers and hugs are extended to Ginger and the rest of the family. We thank God for the times we spent with Don, and we always welcomed his loving heart of gold. He will be missed by many. May God ease your pain until that wonderful day we celebrate together in heaven.
