Maceroni Funeral Home - North ProvidenceDonald Stephen Moskaluk, 80, of Bourne, MA, passed away on November 6, 2025, at Tobey Hospital in Wareham after a brief illness.
Born in Providence, RI, Donald began his working life as a packer in the city’s jewelry industry before moving to Wellfleet in his twenties. Over the years he made his home in several Cape Cod communities, and for the past seventeen years he resided at Bourne Manor Nursing Facility, where he was content, well-cared-for, and warmly regarded by staff and residents alike.
Donald enjoyed writing, drawing, watching the Red Sox, and taking trips to Dunkin’ Donuts. He was known for his gentle, generous spirit and his thoughtfulness toward others. He wrote long, heartfelt letters to his sisters and was always willing to share what he had—whether it was treats from a care package or his “pizza money,” which he often donated to the Franciscan Missionaries.
He was the son of the late Harry Moskaluk and Helen (Onysko, Moskaluk) Hill.
Donald is survived by his two sisters, Carole (Moskaluk) Matarese and her husband Nick, and Helen (Moskaluk) Standley and her husband Tom; his niece, Dr. Christine Matarese; his nephew, Michael Standley and his wife Sarah; and their daughters, Avery and Addison. He is also survived by several cousins.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, December 15, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Augustine Church, 639 Mount Pleasant Avenue, Providence, RI. Burial will follow at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston, RI. In lieu of flowers, donations in Donald’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
