He was born October 29, 1945 to Clifford Moyer and Mary Stewart in Greenville, Pennsylvania.
Doc as he was known all his life, graduated from Greenville High School.
He served in the National Guard for six years. He attended Butler County Community College studying Recreations Management. He took a job with the Greenville Area School District where he was the Acting Director of the Greenville Recreation Center for a few years. He owned and operated Reynolds Beer Distributor. After selling the business he worked as Foreman with Damascus Tubes until it closed. He attended the Winner Institute of Culinary Arts and earned certification as a Professional Food Services Manager. He served as a Chef for a variety of clubs and restaurants in Mercer County. Doc was especially known for his recipes of canned goods including homemade saurkraut, hot dog sauce that he called "Hillbillies" which friends and family looked forward to. In his later years he finished where he started working again with the Greenville Area School District in security and maintenance.
He is survived by a son, Jed Moyer; 3 nephews: Thomas j. Limber, Jr.; Ronald E. Limber; Matthew Moyer; niece: Jane Milburn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Clifford "Junior" Moyer; a sister, Louise "Weezie" Limber and a niece Joan Doerr.

Do was a childhood friend. Doc was always fun to be in his company. He was known as good dancer by girls at Rec Center dances. He was member of GHS Class of 1964.
