Donald Hughes Newman

I knew Don most of my adult life. I moved into the ward about the same time I had him as a teacher in high school. He spent many hours with me as a boy scout and helped me a great deal. Don was a great man with love for everyone in his life. He will be missed. Condolences to those he went before.

I met Don in 1991 when I started working with the Community Environmental Monitoring Program. Having a Geology background we got along pretty well. He was always helpful, and we had fun teasing each other. I knew I had to be on my toes when we got together. I will truly miss that. Even though we met through work he was a friend I knew I could count on and did. He was some I admired and I will always keep those happy memories. Prayers to the family. Lynn Karr
