Donald Nolan Obituary
He was born on September 27, 1933, in Loogootee, Indiana to Joseph and Delphia (Lents) Nolan. Don was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. He was an entrepreneur. Don was the owner and operator of Don Nolan Masonry and Don Nolan Liquor Store. He owned Don Nolan Stables, where he bred and raced thoroughbreds. He was also a real estate developer. His work ethic, entrepreneurial spirit, and love for his family left a lasting legacy.
Don was a loving and kind husband and father. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann (Smith) Nolan, daughter-in-law, Dee Ann Nolan, 1 great – granddaughter, and his siblings, Hubert Nolan, Floyd Nolan, Eulah Wheeler, Glen Nolan, and Gene Nolan.
Don is survived by his children, Kim (Mike) Neeley, Gene (Mai) Nolan, Steve Nolan, Donna (Herb) Lottes, grandchildren, Nolan (Amanda) Neeley, Colin (Danielle) Neeley, Liza Neeley, Kayla (Astar) Wright, Steve (Amanda) Nolan, Sarah (Jeff) Bockhold, Donnie (Breanna) Nolan, Stephanie (Bryant) McAtee, Deidra (Adam) Winett, Megan (Clayton) Shake, Leah Lottes, Nolan (Kristin) Lottes, 11 great- grandchildren, and longtime companion, Rita Poirier.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Very Rev. J Kenneth Walker at 11:00 A.M Saturday, March 22, 2025, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Visitation will be held on the same day from 9:00 A.M until 10:45 A.M at the church.

Don was one of the most kindhearted, loving men that I've ever known. He never knew a stranger. He always had a story and a smile to greet you with. Always genuinely concerned for others, even when he was having a rough day. He made an impact in my life. I am so blessed to have known him, even for a short time. I loved our talks and his words of wisdom and encouragement. You will be greatly missed and loved, my friend. Sending many hugs and prayers to all his family. He loved y'all deeply.
