Donald I. Page 84, died on Wednesday evening January 21, 2026 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire with his loving wife and family by his side. He was born August 21, 1941 in Springfield, Vermont the son of Reginald M. and Rachel (Whipple) Page. He attended Springfield Schools graduating from Springfield High School and the Co-op program class of 1960. He was a pitcher on the Springfield High School baseball team and played in the regional baseball league for a couple of years. In 1963 He completed basic training at Lackland Air Force Base and served several years in the Air National Guard.

On April 16, 1966 He married Patricia A. Sheldon at St. Mary's Church in Springfield.

Don was employed as a Machinist at the Fellow Gear Shaper for many years, and Love-Joy Tool Company for 28 years, retiring in 2004. Don also worked as a Carpenter for Ridge Homes, Wiggins Construction, and Roland Johnson Construction building homes on Bromley Mountain in Vt. and homes on Cape Cod, Ma. He also worked on the side doing carpentry and sheet rock jobs for many years. After retirement he worked part time at Vermont Precision Machine for a couple of years and later as a Funeral Assistant with his son at the Davis Memorial Chapel for many years.

Don enjoyed hunting, camping and just being outdoors. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was always willing to help with any project that needed to be done. He enjoyed bowling and was in leagues at the Plaza Bowl in his younger years.

He is survived by his wife Patti, sons Scott A. Page (Angela) and Stephen A. Page, 4 grandchildren; Jessica Page, Alexander Page, Cameron Page and Matthew Hawkins. Three siblings; Sandra Stewart, Beverlee Jones (Keith), and Reginald Page, also by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his parents Reginald and Rachel, sister Sylvia Howe, brother-in-law Alfred Howe and sister-in-law Janice Page.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday January 28 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at the Davis Memorial Chapel in Springfield, the funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM at the Chapel, Revered Gerry Piper will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Springfield Humane Society 401 Skitchewaug Trail Springfield, Vermont 05156.
