Donald Lyle Palmer, 65, of Eustis, Florida, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 1, 2024. Born in Detroit, Michigan, Donald moved to Lake County, Florida with his parents Louis and Geraldine in 1965. For over 42 years, he committed himself to Long Silver's, where he served as a manager and later as the Area Manager for Hunsaker Management Corporation, overseeing the chain's locations in Florida and Georgia.

Donald was a devout Christian and a beloved charter member of Life Community Church in Eustis, where he was deeply involved in church activities, serving as a Deacon and singing on the worship team. His faith and commitment to his community were evident in all that he did, whether through his church, his work, or volunteering in his own time.

The dedicated patriarch of his family, he is survived by his wife of 42 and a half years, Terri Palmer; their daughter Kristy (and her husband Shaun) Beach; their son David (and his wife Amber) Palmer; and three cherished grandchildren: Claire Palmer, Nathan Beach, and Reese Palmer.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Life Community Church in Eustis on Friday, December 6, 2024, at 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages memorial donations to be made to Off the Trail Missions, with details available online (CLICK HERE) or by mailing a check payable to Life Community Church at 2910 Dillard Rd, Eustis, Florida, 32726, with "Off the Trail Missions" in the memo line.

The family would also like to request that those wishing to honor Donald’s legacy participate in an act of service for others, such as mowing a neighbor’s grass, visiting someone in the hospital, or keeping up with old friends, as Don so faithfully did throughout his life.

Online condolences and tribute messages may be shared at www.hardenpauli.com. Arrangements are entrusted to Harden/Pauli Funeral Home, Eustis, Florida.
