Mr. Donald Gray Pasour, age 87 of Marion, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2024. He was born in Johnson City TN on April 1, 1936 and is the son of the late Estelle Mosley and Pervia Everett Pasour.
Donald was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Marion where he served as an Elder, Deacon, and Sunday School Superintendent. He loved playing golf and was an avid Tennessee Vols fan. He was preceded in death by his daughter Kimberly Pasour; brothers, Neal, Dale, and Kenneth Pasour.
He is survived by his wife of sixty-three years Sally Pasour; one daughter, Donna Wilson (Scott); three grandchildren, Krystal Poteat, Taylor Wilson, and Emily Wilson; three great grandchildren, Levi, Matthew, and Keira Poteat; special family friend, Shirley Rutherford.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Rob Warren officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Donald’s favorite saying in parting was “If you need me, I’ll give you a call.”
