Donald Ralph Patrick, 80, passed away at Delnor Hospital with His daughters Jennifer and Kristine, as well as his brother Rich and other family members at his side on Wednesday November 12th after a short battle with Pneumonia.

Don was born to Irene and James Patrick in Berwyn, Illinois on September 26,1945. He grew up in Berwyn before attending college at DePaul University graduating with a degree in accounting. He proudly served in the Army from 1969 to 1970 where he earned medals for his service in Korea during the DMZ conflict.

Don was married to Barb Wolak on December 14th, 1968 and had two children Jennifer and Kristine. They raised the family in Glendale Heights, Illinois after a brief stay in Denver.

Don spent the majority of his accounting career as an internal auditor at Keebler and then the final 20 years of his career at Anixter where he traveled world wide sniffing out problems. Don took great pride in his work and loved his job.

Don was preceded in death by his parents. Don leaves behind his loving daughters Jennifer (Chad) Peruba, and Kristine Patrick, step daughter Apryl (Steve) Mueller, older brother James (Rich) (Helen) Patrick and sister Geraldine Niemann, as well as multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Don's final wishes were to be cremated and have his ashes spread at Pine Lake in Wisconsin where he spent countless trips with friends and family through the years.

A celebration of Don's life will be scheduled at a later date.
