Donald "Donnie" Patrick, Sr.
Summerville - Donald "Donnie" William Patrick, Sr., 91, of Summerville passed away peacefully on December 28, 2025.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026 at 1 o'clock at Knightsville Methodist Church, 1505 Central Ave, Summerville, SC 29483. The family will receive friends for a visitation from 11:00 to 12:30 before the service. Burial will follow at Summerville Cemetery. Flowers are accepted, or memorials can be made in honor of Donnie to Knightsville Methodist Church, 1505 Central Ave., Summerville, SC 29483 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, https://www.stjude.org/.
Donnie was born on January 1, 1934, in San Antonio, Texas, to the late Walker Donald Patrick and Carrie Mae York Patrick. He dedicated many years of his professional life as a Product Assurance Analyst with Lockheed Missile and Space, a career he truly loved, before retiring after years of faithful service.
Donnie was a devoted member of the Walk to Emmaus. He and his beloved wife, Mary Ann, were longtime members and leaders at Knightsville Methodist Church, where they lovingly guided and encouraged many young people in their faith. Donnie also proudly served his country as a member of the South Carolina National Guard.
Donnie is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ann Alsbrooks Patrick of Summerville, SC; sons, Donald Patrick, Jr., (Alison) of Summerville, SC, Randall Patrick (Lisa) of Summerville, SC, Bruce Patrick of Jacksonboro, SC; daughter, Belinda Beckler (Terry) of Summerville, SC; brother, Thomas M. Patrick (Frances) of Summerville, SC; sister, Deloris P. Sweat of Summerville, SC; along with 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents, Walker Donald Patrick and Carrie Mae York Patrick; brothers, David Patrick, Kenneth Patrick; sister, Beverly P. Riley; and grandparents, Walker Patrick and Rachael Patrick.
