David, Donnie, Alyson and Chris-I used to babysit for David and Donnie back in Riverside. Your parents were wonderful. I have many great memories. My thoughts are with you now in this most difficult time. God Bless.

Donnie and I were childhood best friends living less than a block from each other. I have many fond memories of those days. Even though we haven't seen each other or kept in touch for some time, I am very sorry to hear of his illness and passing and extend my sympathy to all of his family. I hope that I will be able to attend the service in celebration of his life.

My deepest sympathy to the Perry family on the loss of your husband and father.

Alyson, I'm so sorry for all you've had to endure. You've been a wonderful friend, and I hope that you and Chris and Donnie will heal in time---you were wonderful children, as was Shirley a wonderful wife. Deepest sympathy and love to you.

Kay and Family- Don was a good friend and an excellent business partner. His financial wisdom and drive to be successful in his many endeavors was remarkable. Don’s drive reminded me of a C.S. Lewis quote “ What saves a man is to take a step. Then another step” . Like many people, I benefited greatly from Don’s steps and enjoyed being with him on occasions of business and pleasure.

Donnie, Cindy and family. I am so very sorry for you loss. He was a wonderful man that I admired very much.

I was sorry to hear of Don's death, so soon after that of his wife, Shirley, and his marriage to Kay. To his children -- Donnie, David, Chris, and my dear friend Alyson -- please accept my sympathies in the loss of your father. It is always hard to lose a parent. May God be with you in your grief and bring you peace.

Alyson, I am so sorry for the loss of your dad. Please extend my sympathy to Chris and to David and Donnie. I'm glad you got to spend those precious few minutes at hospital. No matter what has gone on through your lives you will always be daddys little girl. I have fond memory when your mom Shirley came to Boston and I gave her tour of Boston.

Donnie, David, Alyson, and Chris - I'm truly sorry your Dad lost his battle with cancer. Although most of my memories growing up are with Aunt Shirley, I will never forget his kindness. My thoughts and prayers are with you through this difficult time.

I remember the last time I saw Uncle Don, it was my Aunt’s funeral she was his wife of nearly 50 years- he looked great who would figure he would pass away a few years later of cancer. My heart goes out to his children, my cousins, David, Don Jr and his wife Cindy, and the twins- Christopher and Alyson (and her guide dog, Saddle). I will remember the most how exuberant he and my aunt would look before going out on their annual Christmas party hopping; I always watched the twins while they were out. Also, my condolences to Kay, his special friend of over 30 years and his wife of almost a year.
