Age 80, of Collier, formerly of Scott Twp., passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2024. Loving husband of over 56 years of Lynne G. Pirro (Steding); beloved father of Kristine McGuire-Saxton (Stew), Dawn Dunlap (Shawn), and Jessica Boyle (Brad); cherished PopPop of 10; and brother of Linda Vezzetti and Richard Pirro (Maria). He was also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Donald was a proud and active alumnus of West Liberty University. He worked his entire career in the insurance industry. Some of Donald’s favorite hobbies included attending car shows, tracking the stock market daily, and cooking. He was known as a master chef and proudly passed along his sauce and meatball recipe. Donald also loved the Steelers and was a 40-year season ticket holder and also enjoyed cheering on his grandchildren’s athletic teams.
