Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, Mr. Donald Ray Pottorff, 87, husband of the late Katsumi Pottorff.
Donald enlisted in the US Army at age 17 and retired after 20 years of service in Germany, Japan, Korea and one tour in Vietnam. After retirement, he continued working as an instructor at Fort Gordon and later as a truck driver and auto mechanic. He was a loving husband, brother and son.
Family members include his brothers: Johnnie Pottorff and Meredith Pottorff; sisters: Darlene Martinez, Melba Robinson, and Diana Lomas. He was preceded in death by his loving wife: Katsumi Pottorff; and siblings: Juanita Mace and Robert Pottorff.
Memorial contributions may be made to one’s favorite charity.
