I was honored to know Don for almost 30 years. He was always kind and generous with his time and attention.

His he ran his business, Purser Architectural, Inc., from the same building on Memorial Drive in Houston as did my brother, Keith and I. I observed that he took his business of serving his builders and clients very seriously and was always innovating with his builders and clients and he was always glad to receive their input. He put people first and he always had a smile to offer.

Though I am heartbroken to hear of his passing, I am proud to say that I knew him. He made an impact in this world in more ways than the fruit of his profession would imply. So many that knew Don, would surely agree.

I am thankful to know of his faith. That brings me comfort.

I wish to offer my sincere condolences to his family and I want them to know of my appreciation for having known Don for so many years. His legacy will surely live on through their love for him.

My condolensces to Connie, Dawn and Toby. After learning of his diagnosis in January, I tried to reach back to Don a couple of times in the past 2 months, but no response so today I decided to see if my fear had come true and I found his obituary. I worked with Don almost 13 years in his architectural firm and knew he had a strong Catholic faith. I considered him my second Dad and mentor. It was because of Don that I started to embrace my faith again. He was the most gentle and loving man, but oh so creative; I was constantly amazed at some of his creations. I will always love and miss you Don. Rest in Peace. You are now with your parents. Til we meet again.

I knew Don as a very kind and compassionate young man. I´m sorry I missed his funeral service. I would have been honored to attend my cousin´s funeral.
So sorry for your loss.
In my thoughts and prayers,
