The Rolling Pin
I was making pies one day. Don was in and out of the house working on a project with my husband, Kent. One of the handles on my rolling pin broke into 2 pieces. I had another rolling pin on hand. I tossed the rolling pin in the trash and continued my work with a different rolling pin. A few hours later Don came through the front door with the rolling pin that I had tossed in the trash with 2 new handles on it that he had turned on his wood leigh at home. Thank you for being willing to share your time and talents, Don.

Eagle Scout
Don came to the house one day and wanted to know why we had a boy in scouts and he had not yet advanced to the rank of life in scouting. He said that he expected our son, Caleb to become an Eagle Scout and that he had provided the guidance that Caleb needed in scouting to become an Eagle. The message was that we needed to get ourselves in gear. Thank you for the wake up call, Don.

Reubens
My husband had to have intravenous antibiotics a couple of times a week. It was a chore for me to get him to the doctor for his treatments. Don came and got us everytime that Kent needed treatment and drove us out to the hospital. While Kent was getting his treatment Don and I would go to the cafeteria and share a Reuben. Don would often visit Kent while he was in the hospital on different occasions. Thank you for your Loving care, Don.

Stitches
Don came to the house one day and said that he had to go to the hospital to get his stitches removed. He had gone to his doctor and he was no longer in business. I spoke out and said that I would remove them. He said Ok. With scissors and tweezers I removed his stitches. Don talked me through each step. Thank you, Don, for believing in me.

Girl´s camp
I would get up early in the morning at girl´s camp to start preparing breakfast. As soon as the men were allowed into camp every morning Don would come in and make me leave the kitchen. He would complete the meal while I attended scripture study with the girls. Thank you for your service, Don.

Fishing
Don came with the family fishing one day. We had several poles in the water. We started catching fish at a rapid rate. As one person helped another get a fish off the hook and take a picture a pole would suddenly be dragged into the water. It seemed that everywhere we turned another fish was on the line. Don turned to Kent and said, "I´m having fun." Thank you for your laughter, Don.
Fix it
Don Razy has become a much used name, phrase used in our household. My autistic daughter, Clara would say the words Don Razy everytime anything needed to be fixed.

The job
Don hired my daughter to cut his lawn one summer. He bought a new mower, new leaf blower, and new hedger for her to complete the job. Thank you, Don, for making every goal possible.

It has indeed been a rich and rare blessing to have Don Razy in the lives of the Kent Cooper Family. Thank you, Don, for blessing our lives. Heaven has gained a wonderful angel.

Don´s presence in the neighborhood will be missed. He was the first to greet all of us when we moved into the neighborhood. He always stopped to talk when he was walking his dog, when his "puppy" was too old to walk he would drive him around the neighborhood. He especially enjoyed talking about his time in the Navy and fishing. He had a wealth of knowledge about life in Clark County and would share information on resolving issues with maintenance issues. He was fixture in the early morning and evening driving around the neighborhood checking on friends, neighbors and his church members; he was his own neighborhood watch "Razy´s Watch". Mike, Theo, Greg and Mary.
