In Loving Memory of Donald Albert Robinson

Donald Albert Robinson passed away on October 2, 2025 in Bellingham, Washington. 

Don was a loving husband to Trish Robinson, devoted dad to Cathie Wright (Al), Christy Bodger, and Karen Orem (Drew); proud grandpa to Josh Bodger, Kendra Bodger, Audrey Orem, Carly Orem, Samantha Wright, and Sydney Wright; cherished great-grandpa to Sophia Heslep; and a friend to many. Don was preceded in death by his parents, Leighton and Margaret Robinson, and his sisters, Nancy Eckland and Harriet Robinson. 

Don always knew that the most important thing in life was the people you share it with. He prioritized creating memories with his family and friends, and in return, his memory lives on — over lunch and a game of cribbage, at Raspberry Ridge and Tri Palm Country Club with friends on the golf course, and whenever Boney M. plays at Christmas. 

Don will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and inclusiveness. He loved sharing his hobbies with anyone willing to join him. You’ll find his spirit in a blooming garden, inside a freshly opened geode, at a puzzle table, or anywhere tools are in use. Always reliable, his loved ones knew he was only a call away whenever someone needed help with a project. 

A man of many skills, Don found joy in teaching others. He taught us how to unclog a drain, drive a forklift, waterski, properly cut flowers, and to Shoot the Moon. We are deeply grateful for the 83 years we shared with Don. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the BIAWC, 1650 Baker Creek Place, Bellingham, WA.
