Donald Warren Rogers, born on September 17, 1943, in Gracey, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at home on January 29, 2026. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, leaving behind a legacy of family devotion and cherished memories.
Donald devoted 36 years to his career at the Kentucky Farm Bureau, retiring in 2006. After retirement, he embraced family life wholeheartedly, dedicating his time to attending sporting events and enjoying family vacations with his loved ones. His commitment to family was further illustrated by his long-standing membership at the Greenwood Park Church of Christ, where he worshiped for 50 years.
He was married to his loving wife, Wilma Pace Rogers, on August 28, 1965, in Eighty-Eight, Kentucky, marking an impressive 60 years of marriage. Together, they built a life filled with joy and memorable experiences. Donald is survived by his wife, Wilma Pace Rogers; his sons, David Rogers, Dennis (Trish) Rogers, and Daniel (Linsey) Rogers; and his grandchildren, Amy, Seth, Adam, Ethan, Aidan, Sadie, Davis, and Leah Kate Rogers. He also leaves behind his great-grandchildren, Evelyn and Emersyn Rogers.
In addition to his surviving family, Donald was preceded in death by his parents, John Henry Rogers and Vivian Cox Rogers, and his sister, Becky Cameron. His sister, Geneva Guinn, remains, along with many cherished friends and members of the community.
A visitation will be held at Cone Funeral Home, located at 1510 Campbell Lane, Bowling Green, Kentucky, on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and again on Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will follow on February 5, 2026, at 11:00 AM, concluding at noon.
Donald Warren Rogers will be remembered fondly for his dedication to family, his unwavering faith, and the many lives he touched throughout his journey. He will be greatly missed but forever honored in the hearts of those who loved him.
