Donald Short Obituary
Preceded in death by parents Harold and Nora Short; brother David; sisters Mary Louise McDonnell and Angela Short.
Survived by his beloved wife of 65 years Mary Lou (Norris) Short; children Timothy (Barbara) Short, Teresa Short, Donna (Timothy) Morgan; grandchildren Justin (Jessica) Short, Kyle (Melissa) Short and Michael Morgan; great grandchildren Tyler, Evan and Mason Short; sisters Arlene Timonere and Norene (Dan) Solt. Special thanks to all the doctors, nurses and staff at Kobacker House.
Friends may call at St. Paul The Apostle Catholic Church 313 N. State St., Westerville, Ohio 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 24, 2021 with a funeral mass to follow at 10:30 a.m. . Interment at Resurrection Cemetery. Flowers can be sent to Moreland Funeral Home 55 E. Schrock Road. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Ohio Health Hospice, Kobacker House, 3430 Ohio Health Parkway, Columbus, Ohio 43202.

I spent a lot of time with Don when I transferred to installation. I remember a job we had my 1st week on Westerville rd. It was in a trailer park with key in the mailbox to enter. It said please don't let the cats out. It was winter and we opened the door and all you could see was cat hair flying through the air. Must have been 20 cats in that small trailer. I told Don I was not staying in installation. Good memories of Don.

Sorry to hear of Don's passing. Fond memories of Don and Mary and the good times we spent together at Scioto Downs. RIP dear friend from your racing buddies, Dave, Doc, John, Richard, Rick and all the racing tellers at the track.
