Donald Simons Obituary

Don was born May 27, 1971 in Albany to Don and Martha Simons (Conroy). He grew up in Cohoes and spent most of his working years at Pier 1 Imports.
Don loved spending time with family and friends. He was an avid bicyclist, and lover of many genres of music. He enjoyed the live music scene around the Capital District, including mosh pits. He also collected stickers from all the music shows he attended.
He was predeceased by his parents- Donald Simons and Martha Conroy Simons Woodward, his grandmother, Mabel Tibbitts-Simons; his brother, David Simons; his sister, Gail Simons and his stepfather, Jim Woodward.
He is survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Anne & David Cotrona of Jay, NY; Carol & Bruce Couture of Ballston Spa, NY and by his niece and nephew, Sierra Cotrona Gentry of El Paso, TX and Simon Couture of Malta, NY.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in the Fitzgerald Funeral Home, 105 Vliet Blvd., Cohoes. Interment will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home Sunday from 2-5 p.m.
