He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Sims and stepfather, Bobby Sims, Sr.
He is survived by his children, Justin Ray (Alexis) Sims, Zachary Devin (Carlie) Sims and Lora Ashley Sims; brother, Bobby Leon Sims, Jr.; mother of his children, Melissa Brandon; grandchildren, Adelynn, Jaxtyn and Gavin Stetson Sims along with a host of extended family members and friends.
No services will be held as it was Don's wishes to be cremated.
