Donald Jay Sumner

Jay was and will always be a legend in his own making and this tribute illustrates that so eloquently. As Jimmy Buffett said "Life is a journey that's not measured in miles or years. But in experiences." Jay chased and lived for experiences and may he continue to have extraordinary ones in eternity.

This tribute is so Jay!!! So full of life, practical wisdom, brilliance, heart, and honesty! Jay was a great colleague and he leaves behind a wonderful legacy. May he rest in eternal peace, Amen.

I worked with Jay in his global capacity and spent many hours with him in NZ negotiating. I benefited hugely from watching Jay at work and I carry with me everything he taught me. I will be raising a glass of very good wine to him.

I met Jay through work, Jay the company rep and myself the Rep for the IAM union. Jay was a great advocate for Lockheed , but also for the employees,. Jay and I negotiated many agreements over the years and because of his ethics and integrity became more than business associates, but friends. I´ll miss Jay and his witty comments, but also his great taste in wine and his love of life and Suz. May Jay Rip.

Such a wonderful tribute. We will miss Jay immensely at Lockheed Martin.
