Donald E. Tefertiller

Donald F. Tefertiller, age 91, passed away on March 7, 2026. He was born on July 9, 1934, in Quay, Oklahoma, to Hubert and Naomi Tefertiller. He was raised in Ellenwood, Kansas, and graduated from Alice High School in 1952. He graduated from Texas A&I in Kingsville with a bachelor's degree in 1956.

Donald married the love of his life, Wilma Hickerson, on June 4, 1960. They shared 66 wonderful years of marriage together.

He was employed by Dxp/Sepco for more than 40 years. Donald was a loving son, husband, father, and grandfather who treasured time spent with his family. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing and bird hunting, and spending time with his family.

Donald will always be remembered for his sarcasm and quick wit, love of laughter, and wonderful sense of humor.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Naomi Tefertiller.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Wilma Tefertiller; his children, Lisa Tanner and Tom Tefertiller (Joan); and his granddaughter, Stephanie Burman (David).
