Donald Tomasiewicz Obituary

Donald L. Tomasiewicz, ""Little Donny,"" age 71, passed away unexpectedly on October 29, 2024. Beloved son of the late John and Helen (nee Sliwa); dear brother of John D (Pam nee Dzieglewicz), Doris (Richard E.) Edmeier and the late Sharon Tomasiewicz; devoted uncle of Dawn (Kevin) Langton, Cheryl Upchurch and Denise Upchurch (Matt Rowe); loving great-uncle of Mackenzie Langton, Madelyn and Mason Rowe; proud Godfather to Dawn, Cheryl and Ashley. Special friend for many years to Mary Kerr.

Proud graduate, 1970, of Weber High School and treasurer of the Alumni Association. Don took great pride in organizing the annual golf outing and alumni dinner. During Don's tenure as treasurer the two yearly activities raised thousands of dollars that were given to young high school students as tuition scholarships. Longtime employee of Flying Tigers/Fed Ex.

Family and friends will meet at 10:30 am Saturday, November 9, 2024, at St. Adalbert Cemetery Interment Chapel, 6800 N. Milwaukee Ave, Niles, where Don will be buried with his sister, Sharon. The family would like to invite Don's friends to a Celebration of Life immediately following the interment.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to Weber High Alumni Inc P.O. Box 31107 Chicago, IL 60631 would be appreciated.
