So sad to hear of Doug's passing. Before leaving the area, he stopped by to visit while he was out with his four wheeler.
He talked about his illness and knew what was ahead. He was a beloved co-worker and friend. Great memories we will carry with us. Got to say good bye and talk about our times working at the school. Our deepest condolences to your whole family. If there is anything you need help with please do not hesitate to call on us. It would be our honor. Ray and Donna Cloutier

So sorry for your loss. I met Don 2-3 times while he was at Cedarhurst in Woodstock. My brother-in-law is there and pointed him out. I actually lived next door to his dad, George, in Woodstock while growing up. We shared some memories and I hoped I was able to give him a smile or two. I live in Ohio so I only make it back to visit 3-4 times a year. I am so glad to see he has such a large loving family. He will be missed.

I only met Don once, but that single meeting showed me so much about the man he was. I watched the unmistakable love between a father and daughter - the way his eyes lit up every time Jill walked into the room, and the way they playfully teased each other. Jill tried to keep his sweet treats to a minimum, while Don found creative ways to sneak them in.
I saw Jill gently help him as we shopped, setting things up in his home with such care and devotion. And I saw how deeply Don appreciated her. They shared a genuine, effortless bond - always wanting to make things better for each other.
I feel truly honored to have witnessed that kind of love, even just once. It´s something I will never forget.
