Donald Richard “Don” Trammell, age 70, passed away, Thursday, February 5, 2026 at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital.
He was born on April 10, 1955 in Clinton, South Carolina and was the son of the late Vernon Andrew Trammell, Sr. and Emily Thorne Trammell. He was a former employee of Clinton Mills and self employed at home for small engine repairs. Don was a member of Community Baptist Church. In his spare time you could find him fishing or working on a Harley.
Don is survived by his love, Melody Trammell; his daughter, Amanda Trammell of Greenville; his brother, Vernon Andrew “Drew” Trammell, Jr. (Claire) of Clinton; his sister, Jane Blackwelder (Jimmy) of Kannapolis, NC and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 9, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Pinelawn Memory Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Chris Sullivan officiating. The family will greet friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM prior to the service at the Mausoleum Chapel. Burial will follow at Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, please honor Don with memorials to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75231.
The family will be at their respective homes.
