Donald Veloff Obituary
March 31, 1936 - November 26, 2024
Donald Veloff, age 88 of Madison, Wis., was welcomed home to the Lord on Tuesday, November, 26, 2024. He was born on March 31, 1936, in Madison, Wis., to Theodore and Arlene Veloff. Don graduated from Madison Central High School in 1954. He married his high school sweetheart, Shirley Crook, on February 4, 1955, in Madison, Wis.
Donald was a proud United States Army veteran. He served as a member of the United States Post Office for over 36 years and also held part-time jobs during that time to support his family. He had a very strong work ethic. Family was the most important part of Donald's life and he made many sacrifices to provide for his family. He was a wonderful, loving, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. His grandkids and great-grandson were the light of his life. He will truly be missed by his family and anyone that knew him.
Survivors include his son, Jeff (Laura) Veloff; granddaughter, Amy (Aaron Everingham) Veloff; grandsons, Mark (Rebeca Alvarez) Veloff; Eric (Katie) Veloff and great-grandson, Archer Everingham. Siblings, Dick (Nancy) Veloff, Pat Veloff, Jim (Jan) Veloff, Carol (Jerry) Crary; and sister-in-law, (Judy) Veloff. Several nieces and nephews and extended family members. Donald was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Veloff; parents, Theodore and Arlene Veloff; and brother, Raymond Veloff. A private family memorial and lunchen will be held at a date and location to be announced.
